Shipping & Returns
What is the return policy?
All return requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. Returned items must be in new, unused condition, with all original packaging and materials included. Please note that due to the handmade nature of our products, minor variations in texture, color, or surface finish are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.
Are any purchases final sale?
Due to hygiene and safety standards, we cannot accept returns on:
- Used candles or burned products
- Custom or special-order items
- Sale or discounted merchandise
When will I get my order?
Shipping and Processing time takes 3-5 business days on average. It's important to note that once your item has been shipped from our studio, we do NOT have control over the postal carrier delivery times. This does not include wholesale or bulk purchases.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
In the rare event of a damaged item, please contact us within (3) days of delivery with your order number and photos of the packaging and damaged item. We will review the issue and help resolve it as quickly as possible.
Products and Materials
Where are your products manufactured?
All of our products are manufactured in the USA in our studio on the Emerald Coast of Gulf Breeze, Florida.
What materials are your candles made from?
Each vessel and home accent piece is hand-cast using industrial-strength, commercial-grade concrete, giving every piece its own natural texture, weight, and surface character.
What type of wax do you use?
We use a premium soy blend wax
selected for a smooth finish, clean performance, and strong fragrance throw.
What type of wicks do you use?
We use a flat braid cotton core wick made from textile-grade cotton. They are designed to promote clean burning and minimize mushrooming from carbon buildup.
Why concrete candles and not glass?
Concrete gives each candle a sculptural, architectural presence while offering a substantial, heat-resistant vessel designed for long-form use. Unlike lightweight glass, concrete has a weighty structure and natural thermal stability, making it a refined choice for those who value both design and function.
Will every concrete vessel or accent piece look the same?
No, and that is intentional. Because each vessel is made by hand, subtle variations in color, marbling, texture, air pockets, and finish are part of the design. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Is it normal to see small marks, pores, or imperfections?
Yes. Small pores, texture changes, and organic markings are natural characteristics of concrete. They are not flaws; they are part of what makes each vessel unique.
Are my concrete candles and decor pieces preserved?
Concrete is very porous and requires a sealant to prevent fragrance oil and wax seepage. We use a sealant that is very specific to our craft on the inside of our candle vessels that is free of petrochemicals, VOC's and heavy metals. our sealant is manufactured within the USA, is non-flammable, water-based, and undergoes rigorous third-party testing to meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Candle Performance
Do I need to trim my wick?
Yes. Ideally you should trim your wick prior to every time you light your candle. This is not only a safety measure, but also ensures optimal performance of your candle giving it a long lasting burn life.
Not trimming your wick will cause 'mushrooming' at the top which will lead to excessive flickering and smokey soot.
How long can I burn my candle at one time?
This depends on the size of your candle and a care card will be sent specific to the candle you have, however we recommend not burning your candle longer than 4 hours at a time. We also suggest avoiding short incremental burns as this can cause remaining wax to build around the edges and cause a 'tunneling' effect.
How long should I burn my candle the first time?
Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface, usually 3–4 hours depending on the vessel size. This helps prevent tunneling and supports an even burn.
Can I burn my candle all the way down?
No. Stop burning when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Burning beyond this point can overheat the vessel and create a safety risk.
Concrete Care & Sustainability
Can concrete crack?
Concrete is strong but still a natural, hand-cast material. To preserve your vessel, avoid extreme temperature changes, dropping it, or exposing it to prolonged moisture.
Can I keep and reuse my concrete vessel?
Yes! Using your piece as a permanent accent in your home is the entire philosphy of USC.
Once the candle is finished, the vessel can be cleaned and repurposed as a table centerpiece, decorative object, catchall, planter, brush holder, or desk accent.
Can I use my vessel as a planter?
Yes! That is the most common way people like to reuse their container.
We recommend using it for dry or contained planting, such as a nursery pot placed inside the vessel. Concrete should not sit with standing water for long periods of time as this does compromise the integrity of the piece.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.

Do you offer corporate or client gifting?
Yes. We offer gifting options for businesses, real estate professionals, interior designers, hospitality groups, and special events such as baby/bridal showers and wedding.

Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. We work with select retailers, boutiques, interior designers, and hospitality partners. Wholesale inquiries can be submitted through our wholesale or partnership page.
Do you offer samples?
We offer mini tins as a 'Fragrance Study" also known as a Discovery set.
Our mini candle studies are designed to help you experience our fragrances before committing to a full-size concrete candle. Because concrete is lasting and all of our pieces are intended to be an artisanal piece in your space, the vessel matters — and the fragrance should feel equally considered.
Which candle size should I choose?
Choose smaller candles for bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, or gifting. Choose larger concrete vessels for open living areas, statement styling, or a stronger fragrance presence.
